Service Description

Dear Parents and Learners, Thank you for your interest in my Chess Club for Rookies! This weekly game session is designed to help students develop their tactical and strategic thinking through puzzle-solving and interactive gameplay. Each session, students will work on a set of puzzles, analyze their solutions together, and participate in a discussion period where they can share their own puzzles if they wish. As the class progresses, the puzzles will gradually increase in difficulty, allowing each student to be challenged according to their strengths and weaknesses. Each week, we will focus on a different tactic or opening and explore how to apply it in real games. Class Structure: 35 minutes – Puzzle-solving and analysis 10 minutes – Challenge puzzle & optional gameplay Discussion Rules: This is a respectful and open discussion space where students can ask questions and share their ideas. Everyone is encouraged to participate, but no one is obligated to speak if they prefer to listen. If a student feels uncomfortable sharing their game or asking a question in front of the group, they may send their question privately in the chat, and I will respond after the session. This class is open to beginners and players looking to review key concepts. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out! Warmly, Louisa The monthly plan includes 4 weekly lessons. Some months have 5 weeks — in those cases, we'll either skip one week or offer an optional drop-in lesson you can book separately.
