Oh Louisa is such a wonderful teacher! My daughter who is 6yo, is ALWAYS excited for class with her. She has been learning from Louisa for a few months now and the pattern has only changed for the better. She keeps my daughter very engaged, theres continuous conversation (in French that too!) and theres no opportunity for my daughter to get distracted. She is great at keeping her attention rapt. Her background in psychology is definitely being put to great use here... She also gives us great advice on how to encourage more interest in Chess as things get harder and also encourages us to work on helping our daughter fix her mistakes and revisit challenging puzzles rather than moving on/giving up.

My kid just completed 20 chess classes with Louisa. This beginner class gave my kid a solid chess foundation to move on. I do appreciate Louisa's efforts in leading my kid to appreciate the beauty of chess game. Louisa is a patient, knowledgeable and passionate chess teacher.
