
Geoff Meugens
Geoff Meugens is a dedicated and experienced English language arts educator with a strong academic foundation and years of practical teaching experience in diverse settings. He is passionate about helping students build critical literacy skills, engage meaningfully with texts, and develop their confidence in English, whether they are native speakers or learning it as an additional language.
Geoff holds a Master’s degree in English Literature from McGill University. He is also pursuing a second Master’s in Teaching and Learning (MATL) specializing in English Language Arts at McGill University. He focuses on critical literacy, youth engagement with digital media, and diverse educational approaches to literature. He brings patience, adaptability, and a learner-centered approach to his teaching. He believes in meeting students where they are, building on their strengths, and creating an engaging, supportive space for them to grow as readers, writers, and thinkers.

Geoff teaches English Speaking, Reading, Writing and SAT vocabulary prep. He is available for private tutoring.
