Cam Gallinger

Cam is an experienced mathematics instructor with a strong academic background and more than six years of university-level teaching experience. He holds a Master of Science in Mathematics (Probability) from Concordia University and Queen’s University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics.

Cam has a solid research foundation in stochastic processes and reaction network theory. His work focuses on asymmetric autocatalytic reactions and their stationary distributions, with publications that include:

  • Asymmetric autocatalytic reactions and their stationary distribution (Royal Society Open Science, 2023)

  • Stationary Distributions for Asymmetrical Autocatalytic Reaction Networks with Discreteness-Induced Transitions(Master’s thesis, 2022)

As a Tutorial Section Instructor, Cam has led a range of first-year math courses, including Calculus I & II, Linear Algebra, and College Algebra. He is known for designing clear lesson plans and practice problems each week, and for working collaboratively with course instructors, departments, and fellow teaching assistants to support student learning.

Cam is committed to helping students build strong problem-solving skills and mathematical confidence, creating an approachable and engaging learning environment for learners at all levels.
